Why Fronius partner status matters
Fronius’s standard cover is a 5-year Warranty Plus on parts, labour and transport, with a further 5 years available on Solar.web registration, the terms of which depend on the promotion in force. Fronius Solutions Partner Plus (FSP+) installers advertise a full 10-year parts and labour warranty backed by Fronius, which Solargain says continues even if the installer closes. That matters because, as our Primo review notes, owners whose installer has gone bust have reported paying for fault diagnosis before Fronius acts.
Best Overall: MC Electrical
MC Electrical is the clearest Fronius specialist in Brisbane. Fronius’s own website publishes a partner page for it as a Fronius Solutions Partner Plus, and the company says it has installed more than 5,000 Fronius inverters since 2015 from its Eagle Farm showroom.

Springers Solar has installed across South East Queensland since 2002 and calls itself a “Fronius preferred installer”. We could not confirm a formal partner tier on Fronius’s website, but it publishes a 10-year workmanship warranty specifically on Fronius inverter installations and runs a fully in-house team.

How we reviewed
We built the shortlist from Google Maps listings around Brisbane, search results for Fronius installers in Brisbane, Fronius Australia’s published FSP+ partner pages and installer websites. We kept only companies that install Fronius inverters in Greater Brisbane, and recorded whether partner status came from Fronius or the installer. We excluded Adapt Energy, a Gold Coast FSP+ partner, because its website says it is moving to Sigenergy from 2026.
Each company was assessed on Fronius experience and partner status, installation model, equipment, pricing transparency, warranties, after-sales support and review patterns. Sources were company websites, Fronius pages, SolarQuotes reviews and Google ratings as of October 2026. We requested no quotes, made no visits or calls, and no company paid for placement.
Choosing a Fronius installer in Brisbane
Verify partner status. Use Fronius’s installer finder or ask for the FSP or FSP+ certificate. Our accreditation note applies too: Solar Cobber does not verify accreditation, so check the Solar Accreditation Australia register and the New Energy Tech approved seller list.
Get the warranty in writing. Ask whether your quote includes the 10-year parts and labour cover, who registers it on Solar.web, and what happens if the installer closes.
Pick the right model. Single-phase homes usually suit a Primo GEN24; three-phase homes a Symo GEN24. If a battery is likely within a few years, the Plus version saves replacing the inverter. See our solar inverters guide.
Understand backup. GEN24 Plus backup is not seamless: Fronius lists a 10-second switchover for full backup. Ask which circuits are backed up.
Check Energex export rules. Energex sets export limits for Brisbane homes, which affect inverter sizing.
