This guide is for Brisbane households who have already decided on a Tesla Powerwall, or who are close to it, and now need to pick the company that will design and install it. We compared eight installers: MC Electrical, Solar Air Energy, Springers Solar, Fallon Solutions, Expert Electrical, DE Energy, Paramount Energy and Solarwise. Every one of them appeared on Tesla’s own Certified Installer finder for Brisbane postcode 4000 when we checked it on 11 October 2026, and three of them carry Tesla’s “Premium Installer” badge.
This is independent desk research using company websites, Tesla’s installer finder, Google and SolarQuotes review patterns, published pricing and public records. We did not request quotes or contact the companies, and nobody paid to be included. You will learn who to call first, each company’s trade-offs, what Energex rules mean for a Powerwall, and what to check before you sign.
People often search for “Tesla solar installers in Brisbane”. Tesla’s Australian site sells Powerwall rather than its own rooftop panels, so in practice a “Tesla solar” system here means a Tesla Powerwall 3, which has a 10 kW solar inverter built in, paired with panels the installer supplies.

Best Overall: MC Electrical
MC Electrical is the first call for most Brisbane Powerwall buyers. It is a Tesla Premium Installer (listed by Tesla as MC Solar and Electrical), it has been installing solar since 2009, and it says all of its installers are long-term employees rather than subcontractors. Few Brisbane firms combine that installation model with such a deep public review record.
Pros
- Tesla Premium Installer status on Tesla’s own finder
- No subcontractors, according to the company, with an in-house trained crew
- One of the largest review footprints in Australia: about 4.9 stars on Google and about 4.8 stars from roughly 1,600 SolarQuotes ratings
Cons
- Value for money is its lowest SolarQuotes sub-score (4.6 against 4.9 for installation), which suggests you pay for the quality
- We could not find a workmanship warranty length on the pages we read, so get it in writing on the quote
Enquire at mcelectrical.com.au or browse all Brisbane installers in our directory.
Key facts: Founded 2009, Eagle Farm showroom, services Greater Brisbane. The company says it has completed more than 14,000 solar installs and lists Master Electricians membership and Fronius Solutions Partner Plus status.
Why we selected them: Premium status, an employee-only crew and more than 15 years of trading make this the lowest-risk choice we found.
Products and brands: Tesla Powerwall 3, plus Fronius Solutions Partner Plus status for inverters. Its Powerwall 3 FAQ says Powerwall 3 cannot be paired with an existing Powerwall 2, while some other installers now advertise mixed systems, so ask for current Tesla guidance if you are expanding an older system.
Installation quality and reputation: In-house crews only, per the company. Its owner publishes video product reviews, including a Powerwall 3 review that covers the downsides.
Pricing and value: Mid to upper range.
Warranty and after-sales support: Tesla’s 10-year product warranty applies. Ask for the workmanship term in writing.
Customer feedback: SolarQuotes reviewers score installation and customer service at 4.9 out of 5; value for money trails at 4.6.
Best for buyers who want a Powerwall designed by people who can explain every setting. Look elsewhere if you want the cheapest possible quote.
Best for Customer Service: Solar Air Energy
Solar Air Energy is the strongest service record on this list. It holds a 5.0 rating across roughly 575 Google reviews, the highest of any Brisbane installer we looked at, and it says every job is done by its own licensed team.
Pros
- 10-year workmanship warranty on every installation, published on its website
- Does not subcontract, according to the company
- 5.0 stars on Google and about 4.9 stars from roughly 110 SolarQuotes ratings
Cons
- Founded in 2019, so it has the shortest track record here; there is no long history yet of honouring warranties over a decade
- It also sells air conditioning and covers areas as far as Townsville, so ask which crew will do a Brisbane battery job and how busy they are
Enquire at solarairenergy.com.au or browse all Brisbane installers in our directory.
Key facts: Founded 2019 by a group of master electricians (per its SolarQuotes profile), Morningside base, services South East Queensland. Listed as a Tesla Certified Installer. Find it in our directory as Solar Air Energy.
Why we selected them: No other Brisbane installer we found pairs a near-perfect review record at this volume with a published 10-year workmanship warranty.
Products and brands: Tesla Powerwall and Sigenergy SigenStor batteries, LONGi panels and Sungrow inverters, based on the brands it displays.
Installation quality and reputation: In-house installers. SolarQuotes reviewers give customer service a perfect 5.0.
Pricing and value: Mid range, with $0 upfront finance advertised.
Warranty and after-sales support: 10-year workmanship plus manufacturer warranties.
Customer feedback: We found no recurring complaint theme, which also means little evidence about how disputes are handled.
Best for households who rank service and communication above everything. Look elsewhere if you want a company with decades of history.
Best Track Record: Springers Solar
Springers Solar has been operating since 2002 and is a Tesla Premium Installer. It calls itself a premium certified Powerwall installer on its own Powerwall 3 page and offers a 10-year workmanship warranty on Powerwall 3 installations.
Pros
- More than two decades of trading, with branches in Lawnton, Capalaba and Warana
- 10-year workmanship warranty on Powerwall 3 installs, stated on its Powerwall page
- Broad battery range, so it can compare Powerwall against alternatives honestly
Cons
- Value for money is its weakest SolarQuotes sub-score (4.5), so expect a price above smaller rivals
- A 2025 SolarQuotes review described head office passing incomplete information to the install team, which forced a design change; larger operations can lose detail between sales and installation
Enquire at springers.com.au or browse all Brisbane installers in our directory.
Key facts: Founded 2002, headquarters in Lawnton, services South East Queensland. The company lists Gold Master Electrician status and New Energy Tech approved seller status.
Why we selected them: Longevity matters for a 10-year battery warranty, and few Brisbane installers have been around as long.
Products and brands: Tesla Powerwall 3, Sigenergy, Sungrow SBR and FranklinWH batteries; Canadian Solar, AIKO, REC and Trina panels.
Installation quality and reputation: In-house team of designers, engineers and installers, per the company. The company says it was Queensland’s top battery installer in 2025; we could not independently check that claim.
Pricing and value: Mid to upper range.
Warranty and after-sales support: 10-year workmanship on Powerwall 3 plus Tesla’s 10-year product warranty.
Customer feedback: About 4.8 stars on Google and 4.7 from roughly 100 SolarQuotes ratings. Installation scores 4.9; the occasional complaint concerns office communication.
Best for buyers who want a long-established firm with a choice of battery brands. Look elsewhere if you want the owner personally running your job.
Best for One-Call Trades and Service: Fallon Solutions
Fallon Solutions is a large Brisbane trades company that does plumbing, electrical, air conditioning and solar, and it sits at the top of Tesla’s Brisbane finder as a Premium Installer. If your Powerwall job also needs a switchboard upgrade, hot water work or other trades, one company can handle all of it.
Pros
- Tesla Premium Installer status
- Huge review base: about 4.6 stars from roughly 8,750 Google reviews
- Advertises a limited lifetime labour warranty (terms and conditions apply) and same-day electricians across Greater Brisbane and the Gold Coast
Cons
- Almost all of those reviews relate to plumbing and electrical call-outs, not batteries, so its solar-specific track record is much harder to judge
- It has only one SolarQuotes solar review, so there is little independent evidence on battery design quality
Enquire at fallonsolutions.com.au or browse all Brisbane installers in our directory.
Key facts: Mansfield base, services Greater Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. Its SolarQuotes profile cites 58 years of trading reputation.
Why we selected them: Premium status plus a service network most solar specialists cannot match.
Products and brands: Tesla Powerwall 3 installation, repairs and servicing are advertised; other battery brands were not clear from the pages we read.
Installation quality and reputation: Licensed in-house tradespeople. Its “good, better, best” quoting style gives you options rather than one price.
Pricing and value: Not published; compare it against a specialist quote.
Warranty and after-sales support: The lifetime labour warranty is the stand-out. Read the conditions before relying on it.
Customer feedback: Positive, mostly about other trades.
Best for homes where the battery is part of a bigger electrical job. Look elsewhere if you want a solar specialist’s design depth.
Best Northside Specialist: Expert Electrical
Expert Electrical is a family-owned business in Brendale that calls the Powerwall “our battery of choice” on its battery page. Its principal, Ben Jones, has been installing solar since at least 2010, and the company says it has completed more than 10,000 installations.
Pros
- About 4.9 stars from roughly 465 Google reviews and 4.8 from roughly 700 SolarQuotes ratings
- Covers off-grid as well as grid-connected systems, useful for semi-rural Moreton Bay properties
- Offers EV charger installation alongside batteries
Cons
- A December 2025 SolarQuotes review described months of waiting for a replacement Sigenergy install after a recall, and having to chase for updates
- No workmanship warranty length on the pages we read; the company mentions dates of 2005 and 2010 for when its principal started, so ask for the business’s actual trading history
Enquire at expertelectrical.com.au or browse all Brisbane installers in our directory.
Key facts: Brendale base, services Queensland to Central Queensland and Northern NSW. Listed as a Tesla Certified Installer. States Solar Accreditation Australia accreditation.
Why we selected them: High review volume on two platforms and a clear Powerwall preference.
Products and brands: Tesla Powerwall, BYD Battery-Box Premium, Sigenergy and FoxESS batteries; AIKO and LONGi panels; Fronius and Sungrow inverters.
Installation quality and reputation: Accredited electricians do the work; SolarQuotes reviewers score installation 4.9 out of 5.
Pricing and value: Mid range; value for money scores 4.8 on SolarQuotes.
Warranty and after-sales support: Manufacturer warranties on batteries. Confirm the workmanship term.
Customer feedback: Consistent praise for communication, with the recall-delay complaint as the notable exception.
Best for northside and Moreton Bay buyers. Look elsewhere if you need a firm date in a busy season.
Best Value: DE Energy
DE Energy is an Archerfield installer listed as a Tesla Certified Installer. It publishes a 10-year workmanship warranty, offers $0 upfront finance and includes monitoring with its systems.
Pros
- 10-year workmanship warranty, published on its website
- About 4.8 stars from roughly 220 Google reviews
- Says it has been an approved solar retailer for nine years running
Cons
- Its website says little about which batteries it sells or how it installs Powerwall, so you have less to compare before the quote
- No SolarQuotes review profile that we could find, so there is only one major review source
Enquire at deenergy.com.au or browse all Brisbane installers in our directory.
Key facts: Archerfield base, services Brisbane and surrounds. Founding year not published. States QBCC licensing and approved retailer status.
Why we selected them: A published 10-year workmanship warranty plus finance and monitoring included, from a locally owned firm.
Products and brands: “Tier 1” panels and premium inverters, per the company; ask for exact model numbers.
Installation quality and reputation: Locally owned; installer model not stated.
Pricing and value: Positioned as value, with free monitoring.
Warranty and after-sales support: 10-year workmanship plus manufacturer warranties; the company advertises 24/7 support.
Customer feedback: Positive Google pattern; limited detail elsewhere.
Best for price-conscious buyers who will read quotes carefully. Look elsewhere if you want detailed battery design advice up front.
Best for Enphase Microinverter Homes: Paramount Energy
Paramount Energy is a Newstead installer that specialises in Enphase microinverter systems, and it is listed as a Tesla Certified Installer. It holds about 5.0 stars from roughly 170 Google reviews.
Pros
- Established 2017 with an in-house team of accredited electricians, per its SolarQuotes profile
- Strong on premium panels (REC, AIKO) and Enphase IQ8 microinverters
- Showroom visits by appointment
Cons
- Its homepage promotes a 25-year “Paramount warranty” while its SolarQuotes profile states a 10-year workmanship warranty; ask which applies to your battery
- Low-rated SolarQuotes reviews include a 2025 complaint that it would not help with an export problem, and a 2026 complaint of a three-day response to an installation fault
Enquire at paramountenergy.com.au or browse all Brisbane installers in our directory.
Key facts: Founded 2017, Newstead showroom, services South East Queensland and parts of Northern NSW. Lists Solar Accreditation Australia accreditation and Enphase Platinum installer status.
Why we selected them: If you already have Enphase panels, this is the installer most likely to integrate a battery cleanly.
Products and brands: Tesla Powerwall and Enphase IQ Battery 5P.
Installation quality and reputation: In-house. About 4.8 stars from roughly 46 SolarQuotes ratings.
Pricing and value: Premium. One trade-off: on a microinverter home, Powerwall 3’s built-in solar inverter goes unused, so you pay for hardware you do not need. Ask whether Enphase batteries are better value for your house.
Warranty and after-sales support: See the con above.
Customer feedback: Recent SolarQuotes reviewers mention clear quoting and tidy installers; a small number complain about after-sales response.
Best for Enphase households. Look elsewhere if you want a standard string-inverter design.
Best Advertised Price (Logan and Bayside): Solarwise
Solarwise is the trading name of QIS, a Rawlinson family business established in 1979. It is listed as a Tesla Certified Installer and advertises Powerwall 3 (13.5 kWh) from $13,990, the only Brisbane-area Powerwall price we found published.
Pros
- A published Powerwall 3 starting price makes quotes easy to compare
- Long family history in Queensland
- Zip interest-free finance options advertised
Cons
- Installation is matched to accredited subcontractors, according to its own recruitment page, so crew quality may vary
- Only about 3.7 stars from 10 SolarQuotes ratings, including a 2026 complaint about an installer who did not show up to fix a failed inverter
Enquire at solarwise.com.au or browse all Brisbane installers in our directory.
Key facts: Family business since 1979 (QIS was founded in 1992, per SolarQuotes), Loganholme and Kingston, services South East Queensland.
Why we selected them: Transparent entry pricing and long trading history.
Products and brands: Tesla Powerwall 3, BYD and Sungrow batteries.
Installation quality and reputation: Subcontracted. About 4.9 stars from roughly 120 Google reviews at Loganholme.
Pricing and value: Check whether the $13,990 figure already includes the federal discount, and what it excludes.
Warranty and after-sales support: Workmanship term not published on pages we read.
Customer feedback: Google positive; SolarQuotes mixed with after-sales complaints.
Best for Logan and Bayside buyers chasing a sharp price. Look elsewhere if you want in-house crews.
How We Reviewed
We built a long list from Google Maps, search results and our own directory, then cross-checked every name against Tesla’s Certified Installer finder for postcode 4000. We kept companies that were on Tesla’s finder, had a Brisbane base and had meaningful public review histories.
We weighed reputation and experience, equipment range, installation model (in-house or subcontracted), pricing signals, warranties, customer service and after-sales support. No quotes were requested and no company paid for placement.
We do not track any company’s accreditation. Check the Clean Energy Council approved retailer list and the Solar Accreditation Australia installer register yourself.
Choosing a Powerwall Installer in Brisbane
Check Tesla’s finder yourself. Tesla’s Certified Installer page is the only reliable list. Premium Installers have met extra Tesla criteria, but a standard Certified Installer can do excellent work.
Ask about Energex limits. On a fixed Energex connection, single-phase homes can typically have up to 10 kW of inverter capacity and export up to 5 kW. Powerwall 3’s built-in 10 kW inverter fits that, but ask how your design handles export limits. Energex also offers dynamic connections that allow larger systems but can curtail exports, with a 1.5 kW floor.
Plan for heat. Powerwall 3 can derate above 40 °C. Brisbane garages and west-facing walls get hot, so ask where it will go.
Know the 5 kW charge cap. Powerwall 3 charges at 5 kW. On short, cloudy wet-season days it may not fill. Our Powerwall 3 review explains the trade-offs.
Single-phase only. On three-phase homes Powerwall 3 backs up one phase. See our single vs three-phase guide.
Compare alternatives. Our battery reviews cover Sigenergy, Sungrow, BYD and others.
Get three quotes. Use our guide to comparing solar quotes and choosing an installer. Our wider Brisbane solar companies guide and the Queensland top 10 cover non-Powerwall specialists, and you can browse Queensland installers.
FAQ
How much does a Powerwall 3 cost installed in Brisbane?
Market pricing in 2026 sits around $15,000 to $17,000 installed before the federal discount. The Cheaper Home Batteries Program takes roughly $3,500 to $3,700 off a 13.5 kWh battery installed between May and December 2026. See our battery cost guide.
Is there a Queensland battery rebate?
No. The Battery Booster closed in 2024. Only the federal discount applies, explained in our battery rebate guide and state-by-state rebate tracker.
Should I buy now or wait?
The federal discount steps down on 1 January 2027, cutting roughly $1,000 off the rebate on a 13.5 kWh battery. Installation date counts, not contract date.
Can I join a VPP with Powerwall?
Tesla’s own Energy Plan closed in September 2025. Several retailer programs operate in Queensland; check Powerwall compatibility and exit terms. See what a VPP is.
What warranties matter?
Tesla’s 10-year product warranty plus the installer’s workmanship warranty. Get both in writing.
What if my installer goes out of business?
Tesla’s product warranty still applies, but workmanship cover may vanish. That is why trading history matters.
How much deposit is normal?
Ten to 20 per cent is common. Avoid paying most of the price upfront.
What are red flags in a quote?
Claims of a Queensland state battery rebate, no model numbers, or pressure to sign that day.
